CanWeGo.co.uk, will arrange evening (and longer) events in and around your local area. We ask you as a member to suggest and vote for the type of events which you want arranged.

Club Membership;

The Can We Go Social Event Club is aimed at putting together local events which have been requested by its members

Membership to the club is free and welcome from responsible adults of any age, from all walks of life and who would relish events specifically focused and organised to fit their tastes and styles.

Attendees at any event can be comfortable in the knowledge that all fellow attendees are either club members or invited guests and are there, ostensibly to enjoy the occasion. The minimum age for membership is 18.

Individual tastes in music, dance and entertainment vary enormously and these differences will no doubt reflect in the broad choice of events hosted. To help us put forward some initial suggestions, we ask that when subscribing to the club, you complete a questionnaire which will help guide us to organise the type of events you would personally enjoy. (This is not a commitment to attend).

As membership increases, this information will be regularly analysed, to ensure that we're kept fully in tune with the needs of the club members.

How Can We Go works;

The administrators of the club will post a list of suggestions for particular events on the website. This list will be compiled from market research, the anylised results from our website questionnaire and the general buzz on the streets. We also anticipate a wide range of event suggestions coming directly from our members. Each will be posted on the website in anticipation of attracting positive votes from similarly minded people.

When a suggested event acquires enough supported votes from potential attendees, we will attempt to bring all the elements neccessary for that event together i.e. date, venue and entertainment etc. The closest possible match that we are able to arrange will then be posted onto the club notice board. At this point all members seriously interested in attending, will be invited to order their tickets at a preliminary price* for that event and within a specified time frame. (A finish date & time for ticket orders will be clearly posted) No actual ticket payment† will be taken at this stage.

Only after the  minimum quantity of tickets have been ordered and in the given time scale, will the event be confirmed. After full confirmation, the ordered tickets will be automatically purchased. We expect the ticket orders to exceed the preliminary number in most cases, which will mean that by the time of actual ticket payment, the purchase price of those tickets could have reduced substantially. _{* Preliminary ticket price: This price is based on the event costs being shared from the minimum number of ticket sales. However, every ticket sale above this number will automatically and equally reduce that share. It can potentially reduce the price of tickets by well over 50%.}

_{† Ticket Payment: When ordering tickets you make a commitment through your bank to purchase your ticket order when the time for that process arrives. So, although your ticket/s are securely ordered, no money has yet been paid for them. There are two reasons for this;}

1. _{At the ordering stage, the ticket price will be set at the preliminary price (see above) but as the ticket purchase price is determined by the quantity of tickets ordered within a given time frame, the final price could alter. The ticket purchase price can never increase above the preliminary price, but may well reduce. When the time frame ends, all tickets are automatically purchased at an equal cost.}
2. _{All the elements required to hold the Event may not yet have been booked or confirmed at this stage therefore no gaurantee can be given that it will go ahead. So until we can fully confirm that the event will run, no tickets will be actually sold.}
